I had to create this blog, since I had to reboot my system and could not remember my username on the old blog. I have not written for a while and have not been consistent doing so for a while. I am planning on writing more consistently again. I plan on writing about both politics and what is happening with my son Aidan who has been identified as a heart transplant recipient.
In regards to Aidan he will be going to the hospital on Tuesday morning for a heart cathadre, to see how his myopathy is progressing. There is a very strong possibility that he will be placed on the transplant list in February when the results come back. His condition is called Pediatric CardioMyopathy Restrictive. It is the rarest of the rarest heart condition, and is often called the silent killer. There is no known cause of restrictive myopathy in kids, however it does occur and can be caused by some other disease or by idiopathic such as what my son's condition is. While there are three forms of this condition, his condition is nothing more than the chamber which receives the blood from the lung is turning in scar tissue, which will eventually stop working as it is no longer a muscle.
The numbers of how many kids have this condition are amazing, I know of only 2-3 other kids in the state who have it. Unfortunately, for most parents they do not find out about this condition until their child has already passed away. Over 95% of all cases are found on the autopsy tables of what they thought was a healthy child. In fact, most kids do not look like they are in bad shape. In fact most kids are very active and even extremely athletic. While they are different cases of myopathy's, but Hank Gathers and Darius Nash both passed away either from it or suspected cases.
Politically you can go to
